Holly Lodge Reviews

We have just had a wonderful week staying in Holly Lodge. We are a family of six adults two of them in their eighties and a five year old . Plenty of room and suitable for everyone. The house is very clean. The lovely kitchen is the heart of the house and extremely well stocked. Our only niggle is that the wet room down stairs is as modern as the other two bathrooms, but it is a very good space to change to use the hot tub and if you have dogs perfect for washing off muddy feet. We love dogs but pleased the house had no doggy smell at. all. Trisha, the owner, lives near by, and popped around to check everything was OK. A lovely selection of goodies left for us including a gingerbread man for our five year old! Thank you so much.

Terrific, high spec cottage. Plenty of space for four couples and the utility area and downstairs shower were great for the dog walkers we are. We hadn't realised there was a hot tub when we booked and we really enjoyed using it after long walks very relaxing and easy to use. Great cottage and a great break in Langport which is a nice town with some lovely country around it. Would come again. Steve

A beautiful home from home, with all the added luxuries. Such thought and care has gone into ensuring your stay is memorable for all the right reasons. Child and dog friendly. Understanding and courteous owner. Everything you could find, want and need in a holiday home. Within walking distance, shops, pubs, river walks, play areas.
What a great house! It was brilliantly equipped for a big group of foodies, such as us. The large kitchen and dining area created a very sociable space which was perfect for a group. The cosy lounge with log burner was a welcome space on a cold weekend. The beds were very comfortable and the bathrooms spacious with great showers. We loved the house and I hope we can come back in the summer as the garden would be a great place to hang out.
I absolutely loved this house, so clean, exactly like the pictures, kind gift basket when arrived, lots of cutlery etc, games left to play, hot tub was amazing, lovely walks nearby and shops to browse. I would recommend this place to everyone!
Everything we needed was available, and Trisha was responsive to any questions. Thank you, we had a lovely few days away.

Beautiful home with fantastic facilities. The beds were exceptionally comfortable. We had a wonderful stay at Holly Lodge. Langport was a lovely town, with great walks. Would definitely recommend this cottage. We will be back!

We had a lovely stay. The house was equipped with everything we needed and more. Clean and comfortable both in the house and the garden and hot tub which was lovely to enjoy during our stay.
I could feel that the owners had given careful thought to the layout, facilities, entertainment and importantly the small touches. For a mixed age family group it worked really well. The property details could perhaps give even praise for Langport I had never heard of it! it was easy to get to many varied activities and the town itself has much interest and easy free parking!
