Chilcompton village makes a wonderful base with its village shop and two country pubs, one being just a few steps away from the property. From here you can explore Somerset and the historic city of Bath with its famous bath spas, theatres, museums, racecourse and rugby ground. Wells, England's smallest city with its magnificent cathedral, unique shops and markets. The coastline of North Somerset is certainly accessible and offers a range of beaches. The spectacular Cheddar Gorge is within easy reach as well as a host of popular attractions Longleat, Glastonbury Tor, Pilton Festival. Wookey Hole, Chew Valley Lakes. On entering the cottage through the front door, you are led into the cosy lounge/diner where you can relax on the comfy sofas after a long day and watch your favourite film on the Smart TV in front of the impressive wood burner. There is also a spacious dining table to seat six is perfect for family meals and the room has been beautifully restored with exposed beams and an inglenook fireplace. Enter through the archway into the kitchen with electric oven and induction hob, microwave, dishwasher, fridge/freezer and washing machine. Head upstairs where you will find three bedrooms, one master double bedroom and two bedrooms with 4ft double beds. Finishing off the accommodation is a bathroom with shower over corner bath and WC. There is a well maintained enclosed front garden, you will find a seating area with garden furniture. There is a doggy bowl provided, to give your furry friends a wash down after a day of exploring the local area. There is parking for one car in front of the garage and further roadside parking available.
