Watchet is a pretty harbour town with real character, boasting an active marina, a beach rich in fossils and a number of quirky shops. The West Somerset Railway line passes through beautiful countryside, connecting Watchet and Dunster, a village boasting a stunning castle overlooking a picture-postcard centre. Families will enjoy the popular resort of Minehead, with golden sandy beaches and plenty of activities on the traditional seafront. 7 Malt House Court is a lovely base for exploring Somerset's coastline.
