Thornhills Lodge Reviews

The shepherd's hut is an amazing relaxing place to stay. You have a beautifully furnished shepherd's hut with everything you would possibly need. The park in general is well maintained and spotlessly clean. The surroundings are well cared for and thought as been put into the planting. We enjoyed our evenings in the hot tub ,we saw a young deer that came up to the fence briefly until it saw us. We watched dragonflies dancing over the corn field ,bats flying over at dusk. And enjoyed watching the moon rise all from the Woodford hot tub ,what more could you want? We will definitely be back at some point ,as still lots to explore within a few miles away.
Michael
Lovely looking Shepherds hut inside and out well equipped with the kitchen area and patio area added to the hut. The toilet room was quiet small with a small basin which made it difficult to wash face and hands but the shower was a very good size and plenty of hot water. The toilet seat was loose and needed tightening. Overall we had a very lovely weekend. Thank you to the owners.
Robert
Very relaxing, nice location will definitely be booking again. Thank you
The property was excellent, exactly what we wanted. The hot tub was one of the best things about the stay. The shepherds hut was very private which we also loved. The only thing I would say is during our stay the weather was very hot and the bedroom was 30 degrees at night. It wouldve been better for when we do have the hot weather if their was a fan to cool us done. Other than that, thank you for such a wonderful stay. Will highly recommend.
Robert
Really lovely relaxing place. Friendly and accommodating ownermanager. The hot tub at night under the stars was brilliant. Thank you
Sabrina
The Hut was amazing, clean and tidy it had every thing we needed it was cosy and the hot tub was great. We booked it with even attention of it being a relaxed weekend and it certainly was. The site was clean and very well maintained. The owner called the day before to explain a few things which was really helpful What a great place to visit we will definitely recommend to family and friends.
Kelsey
I stayed here over the king bank holiday weekend and had the most relaxing time, a lovely well equipped cottage with a homely feel and high cleanliness . The owners were lovely too and texting for any help was no bother to them. The hot tub is a lovely added bonus and lots of wood was provided. On Saturday a pizza van comes to make fresh pizzas which were amazing! Theres lovely walks nearby. We visited Glastonbury town, BurnhamonSea and Weston super mare which were all 15 minute car rides so if your looking for things within walking distance it may not be ideal for you, but this was no bother for us at all, it was nice not feeling guilty that we should be doing more activities so we could just relax more in the lovely cottage. We loved our experience and will definitely be back!
The trip was exactly what I needed, and everything was perfect for me.
Great little place to stay, highly recommend, lovely owners always happy to help with any problems.
Absolutely perfect place for a short break. Really cosy and a great location. The owners were super helpful with any questions we had. Really hope to be staying here again soon
Amazing stay with great views. It was very cosy and the staffowner was very accommodating. I have already recommended to friendsfamily.
