Ellie
We had such a lovely stay at this gorgeous lodge. The views over the countryside are stunning and really made our week special. The owners clearly take pride in the place, it's well-equipped and perfect for unwinding. We loved the hot tub and sitting outside on the garden furniture, especially with the surprise sunshine! Our dog had a fantastic time exploring the nearby lanes and the Quantock Hills just down the road. Totally recommend!
Emma
Honestly, we had such a lovely stay here! The lodge is super cosy and really well thought out. The views are breathtaking - endless countryside, perfect for relaxing walks. It's conveniently close to the motorway, so exploring nearby places was easy. The modern decor made everything feel freshand we appreciated the DVD and book selection for chill evenings. Definitely recommend!
Emily
The lodge was fantastic, really comfy and well kitted out. The sunset view from the hot tub was stunning! The Cottage Inn felt warm and friendly, plus it's great they're dog friendly. We loved it!
Tom
We were after a quiet week to wind down and chill outand that's exactly what we got thanks to Mike and Julie. The spa pool was lovely and relaxing, even when it was raining! We didn't explore much, so we can't say anything about places to visit. The Cottage Inn was just a 10 minute walk away and served good food, but remember it's closed on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. And make sure to take the first left after the Cottage Inn, not Pig Lane opposite it! We'll definitely keep that in mind next time :)
Sarah
This was the perfect find for a dog friendly break in the Quantock Hills. The friendly hosts Mike and Julie made sure we had everything we needed. The kitchen was well equipped, the bedroom was comfortable and spaciousand the garden was ideal for our two dogs, especially since it was so secure. We'd definitely recommend it for anyone visiting the area!
Clara
This was the nicest place we've stayed in, in the UK! It was beautifully designed, everything felt luxurious and comfortable but also practical, we were really impressed. The location was perfect, the view couldn't be better! The hot tub was lovelyand the shower was just special! We will definitely be returning as it was one of the most relaxing weeks we can remember. Thanks so much for creating such a lovely holiday spot X
Mark
What a honeymoon!! We had a fantastic stay at such a beautiful place. The owners were really great and left us to it, but we always knew they were there if we needed help. The Quantocks hills were amazing, a great spot to walk the dog. We spent the rest of our time enjoying the hot tub. Also, we definitely recommend The Malt Shovel for lunch or dinner!
James
We had a lovely week. A great well equipped property in a superb location. The very friendly owners were nearby but totally unobtrusive. The hot tub was a delight after the days spent walking!
Simon
The lodge is very well maintained and has all the home comforts you need and set in a quiet and secluded location. Great backdrop of the Quantock Hills. Perfect for taking our 9 month Labrador for walks, he loved it in the woods. Well located to visit local attractions.
